One of the hallmarks of Girls World Expo is the Girl of Merit Award Ceremony.

We invite nominations of girls 11-18 years old who have proven themselves exceptional members of the community through their actions, activities, leadership, and positive influence on others. Nominations may be submitted by any member of the community, including family, teachers, counselors, mentors, community leaders and others.

Girls of Merit are honored in a special ceremony at their local Girls World Expo!

What Makes a Girl of Merit?

A girl with vision, tenacity and intention.
A girl who gives of herself in order to better the lives of others.
A girl who shows compassion and makes sacrifices for others.
A girl who is committed to excellence in all areas of her life.

Nominate a girl of Merit

Nominations are open year round and close a few weeks before the Expo.

Please be advised that we receive hundreds of nominations each year for the Girl of Merit Award. Those who are selected to receive the award will be contacted by Girls World Expo. Previous Girl of Merit Award winners will not be considered. Thank you for your understanding.

Note: Forms may only be submitted by people who are 13 years old or older. If you are under the age of 13, please speak with a parent or guardian about participating.
