Joy Osahon

Joy Osahon is a Lifestyle Blogger and Empowerment Speaker who believes the value of purpose being birthed through pain. Joy launched her blog site, Emotional Leakage Thru Ink, back in 2015, following a break up in 2014. Since then, Joy has been determined to use her “broken pieces” as ink to write words of comfort for women from all walks of life.

Joy’s desire for helping women discover their purpose, embrace their gifts, and attain confidence despite life’s pain, failed relationships, and self-esteem issues are exuded through her blogs, videos, workshops, and speeches. Joy has been featured in Madame Noire "Ask a Black Woman" Youtube Series, participated in the Lepiki campaign, has been a guest on several podcasts such as, Adorned in Armor, and more.

Joy’s love for helping others is not confined to solely women. She has over 10 years worth of experience empowering youths and young adults in the field of Social Services and Education in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, and New Jersey.

When Joy is not empowering young girls and women around the world, she works as a College Student Success Manager for a non-profit organization called NJ LEEP in Newark, New Jersey. Joy manages 65 first and second-year college students in and outside of New Jersey by providing guidance, support, and resources that students need in order to graduate with a plan.

Joy is a proud graduate of Southern Connecticut State University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health and Master of Arts degree in Women's Studies.

Breakout Session: Level-Up Into Your Calling
Unfortunately, we all have or will experience pain in our lives. Very often, once we experience pain, defeat and discouragement quickly sneak up. What if I told you that the pain you are currently going through is actually connected to your destiny? What if I told you that you can take the very things that were meant to hurt you, to actually uplift you and others! I know it may be hard to believe but I assure you that at the end of the seminar, you will look at the pain you have gone through or are experiencing with eyes filled with encouragement, healing, and hope.
