Over 1,000 girls unleashed their power ad positive energy at our 2018 expo in Goshen. From start to finish, the place was rockin! This years expo was jam-packed with activities. Girls were flying high with ariel yoga from Flexibility in Flight, others were getting make-up tips and henna tattoos, learning self-defense from YMCA Sensei Olang or trying their hand at archery!

Attendees loved the seminars with topics like Women Warriors presented by U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Rachel Thomas and Healthy Relationships 101 by Meghan Mausteller from Safe Homes of Orange County.

The Sheahan-Gormley School of Irish Dance kicked off the entertainment and then the stage was non-stop with interactive routines from I.V.A Fitness, MixxedFit, drumming, and Zumba.

Once again, local hero and our GWE MVP supporter, Suburban Propane stepped up as the Angel Sponsor, allowing local non-profits to exhibit at the show for free. Year after year, we are humbled by the continued support from local companies like: Suburban Propane, Willcare, Thorlabs, St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Nationwide Insurance, US Army, CPV Valley, Frontier Communications, NY Dance Center, YMCA, Excel Urgent Care, JstBU and of course, our host Rico, and the beautiful Palacio Catering & Conference Center.

Straus News always does an amazing job as our media partner. They published another award winning special section called TEEN 2018, which was inserted into their papers and handed out at the show. They are truly the voice of the community! Thank you Tri-State!!

Girls World Expo is a day-long event created by local teen girls for local teen girls – our local Girls Advisory Board is made up of teens from Tri-State who have created a unique show just for you! We have also worked closely with our local media partner, to fill the day with seminars, performances, demonstrations and vendors that serve your needs in the Tri-State area!

Girls World Expo can change your life – come together with your friends, or make new ones at the Expo, to enjoy a magical day where you will hear from and meet successful and powerful women right from your own community who can show you a path to success! You will attend workshops, listen to speakers, see demonstrations, science exhibits, and speak one-on-one with women who are leaders in business, government, industry, the arts, and many other realms of endeavor. It's a rare opportunity for you to see what your future could be, and learn what it will take to get there.

But it's not all work! Girls World Expo is also fun. There's fashion, an art show, music and dance performances by talented local artists, and the always-popular GWE Marketplace, where you can see and purchase everything from hair accessories to self-help materials, and clothing to jewelry.

It's not just another day. It's a very special day. It's an opportunity to spend a day in a safe, secure environment inspired by the company of other girls and not just seeing but creating the future. Your future.
