Girls World Expo is a special events presenter dedicated to bringing girls aged 11-18 quality information and entertainment. Our expos are one-day events that highlight sessions, forums, and a marketplace where girls will meet creative and smart women, discuss topics relevant to their lives, and have fun. While GWE’s web site will encourage girls to build creativity and leadership skills, our partnerships with local media will continue the conversation at a grassroots level at our expos. At these events, girls will have the opportunity to attend seminars featuring local women leaders. We will emphasize scholarship and creativity, while also exploring a variety of traditional and non-traditional career paths — from teaching and law to aeronautical engineering and marine biology. Girls will also have the opportunity to mingle with their peers in a safe and upbeat atmosphere, view an art show, listen to music, and shop in a marketplace that highlights local vendors. Our forums will then explore relevant and important social issues — such as bullying, body image, self esteem and relationships — so girls feel empowered to confront these matters in their own lives. Girls World Expo believes that stories have the power to enable girls to explore, imagine, and dream.
